Blog 6: "TED Talks" Listen & Respond

Have you heard of "TED Talks"?  They are short , inspirational speeches given by fascinating experts and innovators in different fields.  They are very popular and usually very good.

Your task: 

1) Click on the link below of 25 excellent TED Talks.  (If the website asks you to sign up, just close that window and continue).
2) Look through the list and choose one that seems interesting to you. 
3) Listen to it (if you don't like it, switch to another one).  They are 12-20 minutes long. 
4) Write a 2-3 paragraph response.  Include a paragraph of summary and a paragraph of your response and opinions. 

Blog response 6 due before class on Monday, 4/28.

Blog 5 (Session B): Spring Holidays

Tell us about your Spring Recess (Spring Break).  Did you go anywhere interesting?  Did you have any adventures?  Did you learn anything about American culture?  Do you have any new questions about America?

If you didn't do anything special or don't want to write about Spring Recess, you can write about Easter, an important spring holiday in the U.S.  What do you know about Easter?  You could also tell us about an important spring holiday in your country.
